Wednesday - 8th Gr. & 10th Gr.:  Locker Cleanout - EA w/EA advisors

Wednesday - Gr. 8-11:  Volleyball Mtg for next fall - Cafeteria @ 4:00 PM

Thursday - End Q4/S2 (Dismiss @ 1:00 PM)

Thursday - Varsity Baseball @ Twin Cedars - 5:30 PM

Thursday - School Board Mtg - Elem. Lib - 6:00 PM

Thurs.-Sat. - State Track Meet (Drake)

One more full day today and then Thursday @ 1:00 it will be:


**ALL STUDENTS REPORT TO YOUR EAGLE ADVISORY AT THE BELL**

 


Semester Finals will be today (ODD class periods) using the following schedule:

Eagle Advisory 8:00-8:55                         1st Hr meets 9:00-10:30                   3rd Hr meets 10:35-12:05

LUNCH 12:10-12:40                                 5th Hr meets 12:40-2:10                     7th Hr meets 2:15-3:45


Locker cleanout & inspection will be done during EA with your EA teacher:   8th & 10th Grade

      *Lockers must be wiped down (inside & outside) & inspected by EA teacher.  Before leaving Thursday, your lockers must

       be completely empty for the summer.  Any items found in lockers over the summer will be discarded.


For all girls gr. 8-11 interested in volleyball this fall: There will be a meeting today at 4:00 in the cafeteria w/Coaches Greiner & Redlinger to discuss summer workout expectations, the handbook, and summer and fall calendars.


 Anyone in grades 8-11 interested in S/K Football Cheerleading:  Tryout practice is Thursday morning from 6:30-7:30 AM in the Sigourney HS Gym.  Tryouts will be held Friday starting @ 6:15 AM @ Sig. HS.


Students who took  college classes and have books from that class, turn them into Mrs. Donald ASAP.


Reminder to all students:

By TODAY:

A) All school library books must be returned to the library drop box.

Fines will be issued for books not returned.

B) All PE students are asked to clean out all items in your PE lockers and take items home.

By Thursday:

A) All lunch accounts must be paid in full.  No negative balances are to be left over the summer.

B) School issued computers/cases/chargers will be checked in with Mrs. Hemsley during the day.


THURSDAY is the end of Qtr 4 & Sem 2.  Classes will dismiss @ 1:00 PM for the summer.  All classes will meet on a shortened schedule.  Students must have ALL assignments, tests, & projects completed and into your teachers by Noon on Thursday for grading purposes.


Students gr. 7-11:  The “Rural Revival” truck will be here Thursday from 8:30-10:30 AM.  You will be dismissed with your class if you would like to purchase a beverage.  Along with their full menu there is a “Pay What You Can” lemonade option.


The school board meeting is Thursday in the elem. library starting @ 6:00 PM.


The state track meet is Thursday thru Saturday at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.


If anyone has photos you would like to share for the yearbook please email them to Ms. Vest at [email protected]. This could be sports, clubs, field trips, academics, Prom activities and more. It would be helpful to put "Yearbook" of "(Specific event/activity)" in the subject line.


Admission prices for the SICL conference games are increasing with the start of the HS softball & baseball season.  Cost will now be $6 for adults and $4 for students.
