JH & HS Parent-Teacher Conferences 

TODAY & Thursday - 4:15-8:15 PM 

Student Council members will meet today @ 12:35 PM in the Zoom Rm with Mrs. Donald.

Students:  Report to your assigned room at the start of 6th period today to take the reading portion of MAPS testing.  Testing will run until 2:00 PM today.  After testing is completed the class schedule will be 6th hour, 8th hour & eagle advisory.

Seniors & Parents:  Tonight @ 6:00 PM is the “Financial Aid Night - How to Find Scholarships” meeting in the Zoom Room w/Mrs Donald.  On Thursday night is “FAFSA Night” in the Zoom Room @ 6:00 PM where you can get help completing the FAFSA Forms.

Students:  If you have an incomplete for a Qtr. 1 grade, all incomplete work must be submitted to your teacher no later than Thursday morning at 8:30 AM.

HS Students:  The Jostens rep left fliers at the office if you are interested in ordering class rings, other jewelry items, or a letter jacket.  A ring sizer is available at the office.  

SENIORS:  Jostens graduation items must be ordered on-line by Thursday for package savings.  A cap, gown, & tassel unit must be purchased for the graduation ceremony.  All other items are optional.

FFA members attending the National FFA Convention are reminded to get advanced makeup work for Wednesday & Thursday when you are gone.  Transportation will leave Wednesday morning @ 6:00 PM and you will return Friday night around 5:00 PM.

Students in grades 8-12 interested in Large Group Speech: Sign up at the office by Thursday. 

New this year:  8th grade students are eligible to perform with the 9th graders.  If you have questions, ask Michael.

Students in grades 9-12:  If you are interested in basketball cheerleading, there will be a meeting on Tues., Oct. 27th in the cafeteria during EA with Coach Redlinger.

IMPACT LIFE:  The National Honor Society’s sponsored  “Fall Blood Drive” will be Thurs., Oct. 29th from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM in the gym.  Contact Mrs. Conrad or a NHS member to schedule a time to donate.  You must be at least 16 yrs old and have a parent signed permission form along with a photo ID.

Juniors & Seniors:  Sign up in Mrs. Donald’s room no later than Nov. 5th if you are interested in touring Kirkwood Comm. College’s Main Campus.  The bus will depart from Keota at 8:00 AM and return around 2:30 PM.  A free lunch will be provided.
