The district track meet is @ Sigourney today starting at 4:00 PM. Team members are dismissed @ 2:20 PM with the bus leaving @ 2:35 PM.
Sophomores & Juniors: You will have a meeting today during eagle advisory with Erin McGuire regarding fundraising during the Keota Fun Days.
The 6th grade orientation is today around 1:15 PM at the high school.
Anyone in Gr. 8-11 interested in silver cord hours: Contact Hannah Myers if you are interested in working the JH baseball game concession stand. You would get 2-3 hrs per game and there are a total of 4 games.
Reminder: No school Friday.
On Friday, the girls’ regional golf tournament is @ North Cedar (Clarence-Lowden) starting @ 10:00 AM.
The S/K soccer match Friday is in Sigourney against Hillcrest Academy starting @ 5:00 PM.
Mrs. Donald is asking that students who took an IHCC online course and has a book, please turn the books in by next Tuesday so it can be returned to IHCC.
Students in gr. 7-11: ALL SCHOOL LIBRARY BOOKS must be turned into the library drop box no later than Tuesday.
PE Students: Remember to have your items in the locker rooms & PE lockers cleaned out by Tuesday.
For all girls grades 8-11 planning to play volleyball next fall, there will be a meeting Wednesday at 4:00 in the cafeteria w/Coaches Greiner & Redlinger. This is to discuss summer workout expectations, the handbook, and the summer and fall calendars.
If anyone has photos you would like to share for the yearbook please email them to Ms. Vest at [email protected]. This could be sports, clubs, field trips, academics, Prom activities and more. It would be helpful to put "Yearbook" of "(Specific event/activity)" in the subject line.

Seniors - Report to Elem. Library by 12:15 PM with cap, gown, & tassel.
A Senior group picture will be taken @ 12:30 PM
The Keota Fun Days committee is looking for volunteers to help with the “kids events” at Fun Days on June 13th from 1:00-3:00 PM. This would be a great way to earn silver cord hours & upcoming 9th graders can start earning hours after June 1st. The Keokuk County Extension Office is offering fun, hands-on Summer Day Camps for local youth. Volunteer hours are provided for all events, making it a great way to give back and earn a lot of Silver Cord hours.
