Today by 3:45 PM is the last day to turn in to the office your National Honor Society applications for students in grades 10-12. See Mrs. Conrad if you have questions.
The S/K “Homecoming” football game tonight is against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont with kickoff at 7:00 PM. Pregame will include the 1995 and 2005 State Championship Teams being honored.
This Saturday at the KC Hall in Harper is the “S/K Football Alumni Dinner”. All Alumni are welcome. They will be honoring the 1995 & 2005 S/K FB Championship Teams. RSVP’s must be made and it is a free will donation to cover expenses. Social hour will begin at 6:00 PM followed by dinner.
Those 9th grade FFA students attending the Greenhand Fireup on Monday at Cedar Rapids Prairie are reminded to get homework from your teachers for periods 3-8.
Students involved with the Quad County Soiling Judging contest Tuesday @ Montezuma should get advanced makeup work from your teachers.
The Keota After Prom is sponsoring a grade 7-12
Fall Formal Dance - “A Night to Remember” for Keota students. This will be held Saturday, October 11 from 8:00-10:00 PM in the JH gym. Admission is $5/person and will include food, fun and games all night long.
Only Keota students in gr. 9-12 will be allowed to bring a guest in gr. 9-12 from another school. A guest permission form must be picked up at the office, completed with appropriate signatures and returned to the office no later than 3:30 PM on Wed., Oct. 8th.
Any Juniors wanting to take the PSAT, which is a practice SAT test, please contact Mrs. Donald by Sept. 25. This is a 3 hour test that you would take during school hours on Oct. 20. Those that score in the nation's top 2% have a chance at Merit scholarships. Otherwise, this is good practice for the SAT and ACT. See Mrs Donald with any questions.
