The volleyball matches tonight are at HLV/TC (Victor) starting @ 5:30 PM. Players are dismissed @ 3:40 with the bus leaving @ 3:55 PM.
The JV S/K football game tonight in Sigourney is against Mid-Prairie with kickoff @ 6:00 PM.
On Wednesday, Mr. Jamison’s soils class and FFA soils team will attend an IHCC soil visit from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM. Make sure you get your advanced makeup work for the day.
Jrs & Srs. attending the college fair @ Kirkwood in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday with Mrs. Donald will leave @ 9:00 AM and return approximately noon.
The Keota Comm. School District will hold a “Tax Impact Informational Meeting” Wednesday evening for the general public @ 6:00 PM in the HS Auditorium.
Student Council members will have their first meeting on Thursday starting @ 12:35 PM in the Zoom Rm with Mrs. Donald.
National Honor Society applications for 10th thru 12th graders are now available. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and are on track for earning your Silver Cord are eligible to apply. On track for Silver Cord means you have earned at least 50 volunteer hours per year beginning with the summer after 8th grade. Applications will be available on the website or at the front desk. Completed applications are due to Mrs. Conrad by 3:45 PM Thurs., Sept. 24th.
Recently the school was given a donation of good used tennis shoes of varying sizes. If you are interested in a pair of these, please stop by Mrs. Donald's room by Tuesday to see if there is something you would like. The shoes will then be donated to the local clothes closet.
