SICL Art Show in KEOTA

* Mrs. Edwards’ 1st-4th hr classes/lessons report to studyhall

          A “Retirement Open House” will be held today from 4:00-6:00 PM at Lagos Acres to celebrate Jane Edwards and Colleen Hart’s retirement and their years of dedication to the Keota School District.

The track meet is @ Iowa Valley (Marengo) today @ 4:15 PM.  Dismiss team members @ 2:25 to leave @ 2:40 PM.

Gr. 8-11:  Mrs. Donald still needs google responses back from students regarding class schedules for next fall.  See Mrs. Donald TODAY if you need help getting these done as they were due this past Tuesday.

Reminder:  No school on Friday (PD Day)

On Friday, the girls’ golf meet is @ English Valleys @ 10:00 AM.  You will leave @ 8:30 AM.

The S/K soccer match Friday is in Sigourney against Albia starting @ 5:00 PM.

On Saturday the S/K Trapshoot @ BGM (Malcolm).

Students in grades 6-11 interested in cross country next fall should attend an informational meeting next Monday @ 12:50 in the auditorium with Coach Ebert.

The Keota Fun Days committee is looking for volunteers to help with the “kids events” at  Fun Days on June 13th from            1:00-3:00 PM.  This would be a great way to earn silver cord hours & upcoming 9th graders can start earning hours after        June 1st.  Contact Cienna Crawford if you are interested @ 319-330-5809 or email to [email protected]

  The Keokuk County Extension Office is offering fun, hands-on Summer Day Camps for local youth. Volunteer hours are provided for all events, making it a great way to give back and earn a lot of Silver Cord hours.
