Keota families,
Thank you to everyone who has taken time to learn about the Revenue Purpose Statement (RPS) ahead of the March 3rd vote. I want to offer a brief follow‑up to explain why this decision matters for our school’s long‑term stability.
The RPS does not raise taxes. It simply allows the district to continue using existing SAVE funds for essential needs like building maintenance, safety improvements, technology, transportation, and long‑range facility planning. These are the behind‑the‑scenes investments that keep our school safe, functional, and prepared for the future.
Approving the RPS protects our general fund, preserves local control over how these dollars are used, and ensures we can plan responsibly for the years ahead. Your support helps us maintain strong learning environments for students and avoid shifting these costs onto other parts of the budget.
Thank you for staying informed and engaged. Your voice truly shapes the future of Keota Schools.
Dave Harper
